Boost Your Understanding of Recycled Materials in Road and Rail Projects

Ecologiq is hosting an education session to boost knowledge of the standards and specifications for recycled content in transport infrastructure.

Join Ecologiq’s Director Tony Aloisio and Technical Manager Samantha Taylor from 12pm midday on Wednesday 24 February to learn how to use the recently released Reference Guides to road, rail and ancillary infrastructure to help shape a purposely greener future for Victoria.

The guides provide a concise overview of current industry standards and specifications for reused and recycled materials.

Mr Aloisio said the guides will assist project teams, prospective Victorian government contractors and rail transport operators to maximise reused and recycled materials in line with new Recycled First Policy requirements.

“While there are exciting new recycled materials and products being developed all the time, there are many materials approved for use that teams can optimise right now,” he said.

“The reference guide will ensure the approved use of those materials is clearly outlined to maximise the sustainability of Victorian Government projects.”
