    Ainsley joined ISCA in May 2016. Ainsley brings to ISCA an exceptional management, leadership and business experience underpinned by a strong science and sustainable resource management technical background. Ainsley is an experienced executive with a distinctive track record in professional services.

    Ainsley was an executive at Pacific Environment, Strategic Environmental Focus and Coffey International. Now at ISCA, Ainsley works across the infrastructure industry to advance sustainable outcomes through the deployment and development of the IS rating scheme. Ainsley also oversees ISCA’s learning and development portfolio aimed at building marketing capability across industry.

    Ainsley is committed to making a real impact in organisations that anchor in their core values, develop their people and support the advancement of women with leadership aspirations. Her proudest achievements are those that have come from collaborating with others.

    At weekends Ainsley equips the power tools and switches to DIY mode. She and her husband buy run-down properties and reinvigorate them so they’re ready for market. No rest for the wicked!

Patrick Hastings

    Patrick is a senior executive who has worked across a variety of roles, predominantly in the resource sector. He has experience working throughout Australia and internationally. With broad practical expertise in communications, community relations, social performance, Indigenous affairs, Government relations, crisis and issues management, project management, land access and organisational change.
     
    Former CEO of the Gladstone Industry Leadership Group (GILG), Patrick has also served as board member for Regional Development Australia - Fitzroy Central West, Chair of EQIP Gladstone, a committee member of the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership and a committee member for the Here 4 Health initiative.
     
    Patrick is passionate about building sustainable communities and has been recognised in the resource sector for leading best practice teams and initiatives. “Never afraid to proactively tackle projects that might seem too daunting, you will find me at my most energised where I see there’s an opportunity to bring people together to add real and enduring value to a community.”  
     
    Patrick has also enjoyed a great deal of success in senior strategic communications and partnership development roles within the resources sector. He has worked on a number of sensitive and high risk multi-billion dollar projects where he has played a key part in leading and developing award-winning social, economic, community and environmental partnerships and engagement strategies to embed community support.
     

Nicole Boyd

General Manager, Infrastructure Innovation

    Sustainability expert Nicole joined ISCA in July 2015 and is responsible for product development, strategic projects and membership.

    Nicole is highly qualified and experienced with degrees in Environment, Sustainable Development and an MBA and over 13 years’ experience in sustainability roles. She has previously worked at Brambles, Melbourne Water, Sydney Water, Leighton Contractors and Local Government. She has a wealth of knowledge and skills around sustainability; including carbon and ecological foot-printing, strategy development, business development, stakeholder engagement and project management – just to name a few.

    Her chickens, cats, dogs, goldfish, native bees and ever-evolving garden take up a lot of her time outside work. Buying, selling and restoring mid-century furniture and ‘trying to do yoga’ accounts for the rest!

Adrienne L. Miller

General Manager, New Zealand

    Adrienne joined ISCA in June 2020 as General Manager, New Zealand. 
     
    She is based in Auckland, New Zealand. Adrienne has worked as an executive and adviser for over 20 years in the waste, building products, construction & infrastructure industries and also in a public sector water utility - working for Downers, Fletchers, Carter Holt Harvey, Watercare & Waste Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (History & Social Sciences) and an LL.B (Hons 1st), she is a solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and a member of the NZ Institute of Directors.

    She’s also a Trustee on the Board of Diversity Works (formerly the EEO Trust) and recently spent six months as the Interim CE for Diversity Works while it recruited it’s new CE. 
     
    Through her consulting practice Cupola and voluntary work she is regularly requested to speak, facilitate and chair industry events. 
     
    She is passionate about making sure all the voices are heard operationally and when designing solutions so that we achieve better outcomes for all. She has been involved over a number of years with GHDs design thinking and innovation program “Smart Seeds”, was involved with ATEEDs #BuildAKL program looking to encourage women, young people and Maori and Pasifika into the construction & infrastructure sector. She also volunteers her time to a number of coaching and mentoring programs and to organisations in her local community.
     

Jane Nicholls

    With an extensive leadership career spanning major media transformations globally, commercialisation of the first single view multi-media data measurement system in Australia and most recently, as the Chief Operating Officer of the NSW Business Chamber, we are delighted to announce Jane’s appointment to the position of General Manager, Membership.

    According to CEO, Ainsley Simpson, Jane’s role with the business chamber was of particular relevance to ISCA. In her capacity as COO, not only did she successfully engage complex stakeholder organisations, but also led the chamber through an expansive transformation program which included re-thinking how to better engage, grow and retain Members across all industry segments.

    With the chamber, Jane went on to lead Policy and Advocacy and was able to re-focus the team to ignite not only heightened government interest and attention, but also the interest and support of the wider community.
    Jane is a dynamic professional, engaging, down-to-earth and committed to a sustainable future for all people, the planet and the economy.

     

Kerry Griffiths

    Kerry has been involved with ISCA for many years as the Technical Director of one of our valued members, AECOM, and also as the Co-Chair of the NZ Working Group.

    Dr Griffiths also completed a PhD on how to enhance sustainability outcomes through the use of sustainability rating tools in infrastructure. She is well versed in all things infrastructure sustainability and brings with her many years of experience in this field.
     

Toby Gray

Head of Sustainability Leadership

    Toby is ISCAs Head of Sustainability Leadership, in this role he is responsible for the management of the ISCA infrastructure rating process and ISCA’s talented case managers.
     
    Toby is a sustainability professional who has over 20 years experience working across a range of sectors, including the: financial; infrastructure & building; extractives; NGO and manufacturing. He has worked on numerous infrastructure asset classes, including: water; power; transportation & ports. During his career he has held positions in Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  More recently Toby has been involved in establishing and running of sustainable production standards for metals (Aluminium & Steel) and mining.
     
    In his spare time Toby enjoys spending time in and around the ocean or hiking with friends and family.
     

Ben Wade

    Ben joins ISCA as an IS Project Manager supporting the Queensland market. He previously worked as a Project Manager for a civil contractor in Melbourne for 3 and a half years, delivering major road and airport infrastructure projects.

    Ben has a  Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and infrastructure) and undertook research on construction waste management in Australia and the Netherlands.

    Ben is an avid musician, and play in a couple of bands, as well as a very big motorcycle enthusiast.

Declan Collins

    Declan joins ISCA as an IS Project Manager supporting the Western Australia market.Prior to joining ISCA, Declan worked in both the public and private sector including LandCorp and Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (now Development WA) and a number of private land development and infrastructure delivery organisations.

    Outside of work Declan likes all things sports and the outdoors. I am an avid cricket, footy and rugby fan but my real passion lies with surfing and golf. Most weekends you will find me escaping the Perth metro area on surfing trips, camping adventures or meandering around a golf course.  

Eva Wang

    Eva joined ISCA in October 2012 from an extensive career in the hospitality industry as an Assistant Account.  She previously managed staff to oversee all daily accounting aspects for a multimillion dollar organisation, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.  During her previous roles, Eva has actively engaged in system reviews to provide a more streamlined approach to business activities, both financial and human resources, with a proven track record in reducing overhead expenses.

Maria Austria

    Maria joined ISCA as part of the technical team in January 2017. She is primarily responsible for supporting IS registered rating through the rating process and facilitating the use of the IS rating scheme for projects mainly in Queensland and South Australia. With the increase traction in Victoria recently, Maria is a support case manager for Victoria projects. She has international experience in a diverse multi-client environment in the fields of civil engineering and sustainability consulting. Her project involvement has spanned roads, hydropower facilities, land development, recreational facilities and green building design. Her keen interest in environmental issues and sustainability consulting has meant her involvement in several projects overseas. Her Australia project portfolio includes energy efficiency evaluation using BCA Standard and State of Victoria Codes.

    Her past experiences have extended her skills beyond civil design and providing technical assistance on projects from conceptual to operations, to include project management and the development of new accounts.

    Maria is musical, and enjoys playing the banduria, guitar and flute. She also enjoys yoga and cooking. However, nowadays her little girl takes up most of her free time.

Jeremy Majid

Innovation Project Manager

    Jeremy studied mechanical engineering and commerce before embarking on a career in multiple disparate industries and roles.

    He has worked for global companies in the automotive, returnable packaging and wine industries in supply chain, IT implementation, and management roles. Jeremy will help to improve efficiency in the rating process by working towards implementation of a tailored software solution.

    Jeremy is thrilled to have found an intellectually stimulating role that aligns with his values while not having to sacrifice time at home with his young daughter. He looks forward to working in a small organisation with the ability to influence a large industry.

Ranul Narangoda

IS Coordinator

    Ranul joined ISCA in 2018 and is responsible for the development and maintenance of the IS scorecards. Additionally, he supports the rating process and assists verifiers and rating partners behind the scenes.
     
    Ranul is currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Commerce and brings experience in Visual Basic programming and data analysis. 
     
    Ranul is an avid photographer, plays basketball and tennis, and enjoys hiking, and prior to moving to Australia, he spent the first half of his life in Sri Lanka.
     
    Fun fact – Ranul can make a dhal curry in 15 minutes
     

Nina Banfield

    Nina joined ISCA in August 2019. Having worked  in the Non for Profit space as an EA  for over 8 years with both Wesley Mission (NSW) and Transform Aid International, Nina is a great believer in a hand up not a hand out. 

    Nina is the Executive Assistant to the ISCA CEO and overall support to the ISCA team. 
     
    In her spare time, Nina loves to travel and recently had the privilege of walking on the Great Wall of China and seeing the Entombed Warriors.

    Nina and her husband live in Cherrybrook, have two grown up daughters, passionate about the environment and she is a dedicated dog lover. She also has a passion for live music and is a loyal Triple J fan. 

Claudia Sylvestre

    Claudia joined ISCA in October 2019 as Sustainability administrator assisting the team in different areas.

    Back in Brazil she has studied environmental management and worked with environmental education with children and communities. She has also worked with non-for-profit organizations and the public sector to enhance environmental performance within these organizations by applying controls and practices that aimed to reduce their environmental footprint. After moving to Australia, Claudia has specialized in project management and has worked supporting PMOs and project managers in different areas such as telecommunication and entertainment.

    Claudia loves spending her free time in the nature either on the beach or bush walking.  She also enjoys cooking for her family and friends, especially trying new healthy and yummy recipes.
     

Rina Romeo

    My career began at Barclays Bank as a Collections officer moving into Commercial Lending. I then moved onto working at American Express for 15 years as a Credit Analyst in the personal and then moving into Corporate services department. To then having a little break raising my children.  I then went onto working and left my last role at Care Pharmaceuticals where I worked for 4 ½ years, being part of the finance team.
     
    My role at ISCA is finance officer working with Eva Wang and I am very excited being part of ISCA.
     
    My hobbies include soccer and Rugby. (Yes completely opposite, however I have 2 boys playing different codes).
    I enjoy fishing and relaxing by the water.  I love to travel. Which included my last trip away to Venice at the end of last year.
     

Luke Sammut

    Luke joined the Melbourne office in February 2020 and responsible for proving support to IS project managers throughout the ratings process. 

    Luke has a degree in Bachelor of psychological sciences, sustainability and climate policy and masters in environmental management and sustainability. 

    After graduating, Luke has gained experience within the national electricity market. Luke worked with one of Australia’s leading renewable focused electricity retailers and generator. His roles’ particular focus was on Diamond Energy’s business to business process and management within the National Electricity Market. 

    Outside of work, Luke loves everything outdoors from camping to hiking, and he’s a big soccer fan. 

Siddharth Bishnoi

    Siddharth joins ISCA as an IS Project Manager supporting the Queensland market. Prior to joining ISCA, Siddharth worked as a Project Manager for The World Bank in India, working with a wide range of public, private and NFP stakeholders delivering major integrated water and river basin management projects.

    Siddharth holds an MBA degree focusing on Entrepreneurship & Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He also co-founded a renewable energy and wastewater management start-up in India which was awarded as one of the top 10 start-ups in 2017.

    Siddharth is a sports buff and plays soccer for local club. In his free time, he could be found playing soccer (still prefers to call it football), badminton or literally any sport with golf being recent addition.
     

Judith Levitt

    Judith joined ISCA in May 2019, as Training Administrator, and due to internal realignment is now the Customer Service Coordinator. Judith’s motivation lies in her belief that training and education are key enablers to personal and corporate success, and enjoys the challenges and successes that come with the role. She has many years’ experience working in both private and not for profit businesses in a training administration and management capacity and has worked in the animal welfare, health, aged care and environment industries.
     
    Outside of office hours Judith spends as much time as possible in the great outdoors, going on long road trips, attending music events, and hanging out with friends and family.
     

Michelle Demasio

    Michelle is an Environmental Engineer involved in the environmental consulting industry for more than ten years, where she has been engaged with distinct stakeholders within private and governmental sectors. Overseas she mainly worked with environmental impact assessments establishing technical tools for environmental management systems, focusing on water and waste management solutions and rehabilitation of degraded environments. Within Australia, she was primarily engaged with the contaminated land consulting industry to assess potential contaminated sites via desktop and in-situ investigation to comply with national guidelines and regulatory frameworks. 

    Outside of work, Michelle loves practicing sports out in nature from surfing to snowboarding and hiking. She also spends her time trying to deep her yoga practice as well as her footvolley skills. 

Rashmi Satam

    I started my career in Dubai, UAE as Administrator and Projects Co-ordinator working for a Fire Safety Systems Installation company. 

    Within this industry I had the opportunity to handle Purchase and logistics between sites as well. I was able to work on big projects like EKFC and Sobha developers project ‘Sapphire’.

    I then moved to Sydney and worked with BSI Group ANZ, a certification body within an Administrative role. I have more than 10 years of administrative & co-ordination experience.

    We are a family of four and have a good social circle of close friends.
