Ainsley joined ISCA in May 2016. Ainsley brings to ISCA an exceptional management, leadership and business experience underpinned by a strong science and sustainable resource management technical background. Ainsley is an experienced executive with a distinctive track record in professional services.

 

Ainsley was an executive at Pacific Environment, Strategic Environmental Focus and Coffey International. Now at ISCA, Ainsley works across the infrastructure industry to advance sustainable outcomes through the deployment and development of the IS rating scheme. Ainsley also oversees ISCA’s learning and development portfolio aimed at building marketing capability across industry.

 

Ainsley is committed to making a real impact in organisations that anchor in their core values, develop their people and support the advancement of women with leadership aspirations. Her proudest achievements are those that have come from collaborating with others.

 

At weekends Ainsley equips the power tools and switches to DIY mode. She and her husband buy run-down properties and reinvigorate them so they’re ready for market. No rest for the wicked!

Aleisa Doherty

Aleisa is an Accounts officer with more than 10 years experience in Finance and administrative departments across companies from different sectors in Australia and Colombia.

After arriving to Australia in 2005, she dedicated the first few years to study and raising her children but after her kids started school she decides to take back her career. With a degree in Economist and a strong financial academic background she has performed in Accounts department roles with diverse responsibilities as  Accounts Payable, Accounts receivables, Payroll, Bank reconciliations and BAS duties, using different accounting software like Xero and MYOB  in Companies as SHBR Group (Insurance builders), Minimee Babies and Kids and The Dunn Group (BP petrol stations). She is looking forward to applying her skills and experience in her new role at ISCA, looking for achieving results timely effective, being a team player  and a stable and strong working relationship .

Bridget Corcoran

Case Manager - New South Wales, Western Australia

Bridget joined ISCA’s Sydney office in 2019 and is responsible for supporting projects through the IS rating process, primarily in Western Australia and New South Wales. Bridget brings to ISCA extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and project management within the environment sector.

With a degree in Environmental Policy, she went on to work in Member Services at the Australian Packaging Covenant. Following that she performed the role of Environmental Consultant at KMH Environmental (now pitt&sherry), aswell as a secondment with Local Government.

Outside of work Bridget loves getting creative in the kitchen and listening to Latin music. Having grown up in the Snowy Mountains, she likes to be active in the outdoors and is currently trying to learn how to surf.

Carlos Gonzalez

Marketing Coordinator

Carlos joined ISCA in 2019. He previously worked at My Muscle Chef as marketing assistant and for a number of F45 Training studios as social media specialist. 

Carlos has experience in marketing, social media management, website development, SEO and graphic design. 

At ISCA, Carlos is the marketing coordinator responsible for all things digital - social media campaigns, website management, content creation, advertising, email marketing as well as event management.

In his spare time, Carlos enjoys travelling, playing football (yes, soccer) and all things fitness.

Charlotte Connell

Charlotte joined ISCA in September 2017 as Engagement Manager and is responsible for delivering value to members and the broader stakeholder community.

 

Charlie’s story-telling skills started with writing for a surfing magazine in high school.  From there she honed her journalistic skills in print, radio and TV before moving across to corporate communications in local government. While working on a rural island in Vanuatu, in an AusAid sponsored position, Charlie deconstructed what communications and marketing had become and stripped it back to its simplest form – engaging your audience and value delivery.

 

Most recently Charlie has driven the marketing and communications across Australia and New Zealand for seafood sustainability certification scheme, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), doubling consumer awareness and more importantly positively engaging industry.

Dan Prince

Marketing Manager

Dan joined ISCA in 2017. He has previously worked for Mattel and at an insurance broker in the UK, before moving to Sydney in December 2016.

 

Dan has experience in social media marketing, blog writing, website development, mobile apps, and search engine optimization.

 

At ISCA Dan is responsible for everything digital – the website, content, social media, email marketing, annual publication – and is also a point of contact for event and conference partnerships and coordination.

 

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, exploring Australia, Netflix binges, gaming and football (but refuses to call it soccer).

Eva Wang

Eva joined ISCA in October 2012 from an extensive career in the hospitality industry as an Assistant Account.  She previously managed staff to oversee all daily accounting aspects for a multimillion dollar organisation, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.  During her previous roles, Eva has actively engaged in system reviews to provide a more streamlined approach to business activities, both financial and human resources, with a proven track record in reducing overhead expenses.

Jonathan Avery

Jon joined ISCA in December 2017, boasting a wealth of fantastic experience as a project engineer, project manager, and stakeholder engagement manager at a wide variety of international organisations. Jon’s lived on four continents, having worked in France, Guinea, Tanzania and Kenya.

 

At ISCA, Jon is responsible for the management and maintenance of the IS International rating tool and associated training programs, developing and maintaining regional and international partnerships, as well as being New South Wales and New Zealand’s case manager.

 

In his spare time Jon enjoys bush-walking and bird watching, and has an appetite for French food.

Kieren Heikkinen

Case Manager - Queensland, Western Australia

Kieren joined ISCA as part of the Technical Team in November 2016. He has a background in civil engineering in local government (5 years’ experience), as well as design, project management, construction, and asset management experience.

At ISCA, Kieren is primarily responsible for supporting IS registered ratings through the rating process, facilitating the use of the IS Rating Tool and assisting with tool development. He primarily works with projects in Queensland and Western Australia, but is also involved with New South Wales.

Kieren enjoys a decent music festival, the outdoors, and everything automotive.

Kirsty Bauer

Kirsty joined ISCA as part of the Technical Team in August 2015. She is primarily responsible for supporting IS registered ratings through the rating process and facilitating the use of the IS rating scheme for projects in Victoria. Kirsty project managed the development of the IS Operations rating scheme.

 

Kirsty has over 13 years’ experience delivering environmental, energy and sustainability project support in a range of sectors.

 

Kirsty is one of two South Africans at ISCA, and has also lived in the UK. She enjoys solving problems, playing supball at Manly Wharf, and caring for her beloved dog, Jock.

Maria Austria

Quality and Research Manager

Maria joined ISCA as part of the technical team in January 2017. She is primarily responsible for supporting IS registered rating through the rating process and facilitating the use of the IS rating scheme for projects mainly in Queensland and South Australia. With the increase traction in Victoria recently, Maria is a support case manager for Victoria projects. She has international experience in a diverse multi-client environment in the fields of civil engineering and sustainability consulting. Her project involvement has spanned roads, hydropower facilities, land development, recreational facilities and green building design. Her keen interest in environmental issues and sustainability consulting has meant her involvement in several projects overseas. Her Australia project portfolio includes energy efficiency evaluation using BCA Standard and State of Victoria Codes.

Her past experiences have extended her skills beyond civil design and providing technical assistance on projects from conceptual to operations, to include project management and the development of new accounts.

Maria is musical, and enjoys playing the banduria, guitar and flute. She also enjoys yoga and cooking. However, nowadays her little girl takes up most of her free time.

Nicole Boyd

Sustainability expert Nicole joined ISCA in July 2015 and is responsible for product development, strategic projects and membership.

 

Nicole is highly qualified and experienced with degrees in Environment, Sustainable Development and an MBA and over 13 years’ experience in sustainability roles. She has previously worked at Brambles, Melbourne Water, Sydney Water, Leighton Contractors and Local Government. She has a wealth of knowledge and skills around sustainability; including carbon and ecological foot-printing, strategy development, business development, stakeholder engagement and project management – just to name a few.

 

Her chickens, cats, dogs, goldfish, native bees and ever-evolving garden take up a lot of her time outside work. Buying, selling and restoring mid-century furniture and ‘trying to do yoga’ accounts for the rest!

Paul Davies

General Manager, Market Capability

Paul is responsible for supporting the delivery of the sustainability awareness and training needs of the infrastructure industry, and overseeing ISCA’s advocacy activities.

Paul has had a pretty diverse career in infrastructure, transport, consulting, industry bodies (eg NATA), medical research and technical accreditation. Paul is an ISAP, a Certified Lead Sustainability Assurance Practitioner, and has been a GRI Certified Trainer, contributed to the development of GRI’s G4 sustainability reporting framework, the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard, and the IIRC’s integrated report assurance framework.


Outside of work Paul likes to cycle, and is in to horology (a fancy word for watches!)

Rob Hewlett

IS Coordinator

Rob joined ISCA as an IS Coordinator, and is based in Melbourne. Rob supports the ratings process, and brings experience in data analysis and advocacy.

Rob studied chemistry, then did a PhD in Materials Science (research on materials for solar cells).

 

Prior to ISCA, Rob worked as a Sustainability Consultant for Anthesis Group in London, mainly on product stewardship and Circular economy project. He then moved to Melbourne in February 2018 and worked for Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform.

 

Rob used to play for one of the UK’s top flag American football teams, but due to time restrictions he now spends more time cooking and working on a personal social change project.

Sandra Valeri

Case Manager - Victoria

Sandra joined ISCA in November 2018 as a Case Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. Sandra helps to assist projects through the IS Rating process and provides technical support.

 

Sandra boasts a wealth of industry experience implementing sustainability on infrastructure projects. She previously worked as a Senior Sustainability Advisor with Laing O' Rourke on the North Eastern Program Alliance, as well as a Sustainability Consultant for AECOM.

 

A wine aficionado, Sandra enjoys hiking and visiting wineries and has even made her own Shiraz.

Taryn Prouse

Case Manager - New South Wales, South Australia

Taryn is a Mechanical Engineer with 5 years’ experience designing Hydraulic, HVAC and fire protection systems for buildings in both Australia and Canada and experience with GBCA and LEED ratings. She is results-focused, seeing projects through to the best outcomes and building strong working relationships along the way.

 

At ISCA Taryn is responsible for supporting IS registered ratings through the rating process and facilitating the use of the IS rating scheme for projects in New South Wales and South Australia bringing her experience in design and construction to her new role.

 

After riding her motorcycle 70,000km from the Northern tip of Alaska to the southern tip of Argentina, Taryn returned home to Sydney to focus on her career and, in April 2019 joined ISCA as a Case Manager. In her spare time Taryn enjoys camping, hiking and going to the beach, but has decided to retire from motorcycle riding for now.
